Terms of Service for ExtCafe Extensions and Website

1. Who we are

ExtCafe (extcafe.com) makes the SEO AI Assistant, DealFinder and TrackLens Chrome extensions. You can reach us at aio@extcafe.com.

2. Your account

• You need an account only for Pro and for free Pro tries. The free features work without one.
• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Give a real email address you control, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
• One person per account. Creating extra accounts to get more free tries is not allowed.
• We send account, security and billing emails as needed. We may also send occasional product update and offer emails; each has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn them off under Email preferences in your dashboard.

3. Free Pro tries

A logged-in free account can use AI fixes, competitor comparison, the site audit and llms.txt generation once each, at no cost and without a card. We record which tries an account has used so each tool can be tried once. We may change or end free tries at any time.

4. Pro subscription, trial and billing

• Pro for SEO AI Assistant costs $5 per month and starts with a 3-day free trial. You buy it from your ExtCafe dashboard, using the same account you log in to the extension with.
• Payments are handled by Polar.sh, which acts as the merchant of record. We never see your card details.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard's billing portal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• If you think you were charged by mistake, email us within 14 days and we will look at it with Polar.
• We may change the price. If we do, we will tell existing subscribers by email before the new price applies to them.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use our extensions, website or server to:

• break the law, or audit, crawl or monitor sites you are not allowed to access;
• overload, scrape or attack our server, or get around rate limits, plan checks or free-try limits;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the paid features or the server's responses as a competing service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Scores, AI fixes and results

Scores, checks, keyword lists and AI-written fixes are guidance, not guarantees. They do not promise rankings, traffic or citations by AI engines. AI-written text can be wrong; review it before you publish it. You are responsible for changes you make to your own website.

7. Availability and liability

The services are provided "as is". We try to keep them working but do not promise they will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, ExtCafe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the services at any time. To delete your account and its data, use Delete account in your dashboard or email aio@extcafe.com; cancel any Pro subscription that will renew first.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the version date above and ask you to agree again the next time you log in or sign up.
